About 100 Market Place

100 Market Place is a chinese buffet in New York, New York. It is listed at 100 Broad St, New York, NY 10004, which places it among the local businesses of New York that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in New York; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (212) 901-5400. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, 100marketplace.com.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place was within walking distance from our hotel, so we stopped by to grab something to eat before continuing with our day. Itβs a buffet-style setup where you choose whatever you want, put it in a container, and they weigh it at the end. There were a lot of different varieties to choose from, which was nice. The food I got was just okayβ¦nothing particularly special, but it was enough to fill me up and give me some energy for the rest of the day. The staff were friendly. The place is self-service, so expect to see some tables that havenβt been cleaned yet, especially when other customers donβt clear their own dishes. Overall, itβs a convenient option for a quick and filling meal, but the food didnβt really stand out to me.

The food is ALWAYS fresh and amazing. The overall atmosphere is comfortable but the highlight are the people behind the counter. In NYC, ESPECIALLY, the friendliness of workers can be dependent upon if the worker knows or LIKES certain people that entertain the business with their resources. This is NEVER a good business model. I, myself, have stopped shopoing at certain grocers simply because the cashier will give generously of themselves to the clientel, in line, before me,....but when I step up...the mood shifts, no eye contact, barely a word...and in some cases, some workers behind the counter, who, for whatever reason, do not want to serve a particular individual; they will withdraw and give the customer over to another worker behind the counter. One must ask themselves how they would feel if they were treated like their very presence was a bother while watching others being treated with enthusiasm and friendliness. I've had instances wherein cashiers have pretended not to see me coming in line....and, again, their level of service seems incumbant upon the status of whom they are serving. As an example, look at the recent Blacks avoiding Asian businesses. It really matt

Had a late lunch here after leaving Battery Park.. The counter service was closed when we got there, but they had a good selection of different style foods in their buffet, sold by the pound. Got the chicken with broccoli and fried rice. The food was tasty but could have been warmer. There is limited seating on the main floor but lots down the stairs to the lower level.

I ordered ham and egg on a white toast. I remembered correctly the price is $5.5 because I bought it several times. The deli staff marked a wrong price and corrected it with double line on the toast. However, the cashier lady said it should be $6.5 because there is a ham on the sandwich. I paid and asked the deli staff the correct price, deli staff confirmed $5.5. I went back to the cashier lady and she gave me a refund. This is not about the money, this is about integrity. Someone clearly knows the correct price.

Please be careful using this food hall if youβre travelling from the UK. Two food containers with not a lot of food in them, cost me 75 dollars!! The food wasnβt even nice and was cold not sure if they are preying on English the food was 14.99 a pound which is absolutely disgusting. Please find attached photos and stay well clear!
